avishai has extensive entrepreneurial experience, having founded several software companies. avishai co-founded and served as ceo of verisity (nasdaq: vrst), a software company providing development tools for electronic chip designers. he also co-founded and served as ceo of scanvec (nasdaq: svecf.ob), a world leader in providing open architecture cad/cam software solutions for the sign making, machining and imaging industries. avishai has served as a senior consultant assisting private investors and the office of chief scientist, and the israel ministry of industry and commerce, in screening early stage high-tech companies.
avishai holds a b.sc. in computer science from ben gurion university (cum laude) and a m.sc. in computer science from the weizman institute of science (magna cum laude).
